Band 5 Nurses – Acute Dependency Unit

Do you have acute nursing experience and want to develop into caring for level 2 patients? Do you want to give outstanding care every time? If you want to consistently deliver the fundamentals of patient care, then we want to work with you.

The 8 bedded Acute Dependency Unit sits within Richmond Ward - a 51 bedded Acute Medical unit incorporating a Consultant led Ambulatory Assessment Unit with Nurse Practitioner clinics. We care for level two patients with a variety of medical conditions in a fast turnover environment.

If you are an experienced nurse - this is a chance to develop your skills as part of a highly capable team where you’re guaranteed opportunities to learn how to care for patients requiring a variety of nursing interventions. You will be supported by our practice educators and senior nurses to help you develop the skills you need to do the job well and develop your career.

We offer mentorship, rotations and professional development to ensure you get the very best from your time with us. With a variety of career progression opportunities - from Clinical Ward Manager, Practice Educator, Matron, Nurse Practitioner and Clinical Nurse Specialist roles. Where do you see yourself?
